Organization

“The secret of all victory lies in the organization of the non-obvious.” – Marcus Aurelius

The first step towards success begins with a solid organizational base. When a person has order in his surroundings, he is free of the stress and anxiety caused by clutter, distraction, and an inability to find a starting point. Literally starting with the contents of the backpack, Nancy will help a student organize most areas of his life. She will help your child eliminate all the clutter and confusion so less time will be wasted being distracted, or rifling through a blizzard of worksheets and homework assignments.

Some of the tactics Nancy teaches to get organized include:

  • organizing a student’s backpack and study area
  • clearly labeling all binder and folders
  • cutting down on excess supplies

Organization yields immediate results. When students know where their materials are they can quickly, calmly, and confidently accomplish tasks. Valuable time can be spent actually working on an assignment instead of looking for it. Since students are much more in control of their physical surrounding the feelings of chaos and being overwhelmed are greatly reduced.
